October 2014
METC Conference 2015
Registration Open

It's Time!
METC Registration is now officially open. This year we've simplified our pricing and you'll notice a few changes. As members of EducationPlus, your pricing for Early Bird registration is the same as it has been for several years. Despite significant increases in our technology infrastructure and food costs over the last three years, we're able to keep your prices the same as long as you register by the Early Bird deadline of December 18th. It's important to us that we continue to show value to our members and this is just one way we can do that. So please keep reading and take advantage of Early Bird Registration and save anywhere between 12 and 19%!

The conference is February 9-11 at the St. Charles Convention Center.  Register online. We're excited to share even more news....

Featured Speaker Announcement
Max Brooks

We welcome Max Brooks of Discovery Education as one of our 2015 featured speakers at Midwest Education Technology Community Conference.

Max is a life-long learner-sharer who pulls inspiration from all things 'techucational' like robotics, digital media creation and eportfolios. He started his career in education as a middle school teacher in Washington, DC. He later transitioned to the role of SmartLab™ Facilitator at his school. Both the President of the United States and the Secretary of Education visited his lab to witness authentic, student-directed learning.

Since he joined Discovery Education, he has often reached back to his roots as a classroom educator, department coordinator and technology facilitator to assist him in working with schools and districts to support their teaching and learning initiatives.
