Choosing the winners in each category was a difficult task for the judges, and the difference between winning and non-winning entries, in many cases, was only a few points. This year's new rule that movies must cite all sources within the film eliminated some otherwise great movie-making efforts.
Thank you to all who submitted movies this year for Show-Me a Movie. We hope to get more movies from you and your students next year. Look for the winning movies to be posted to our SchoolTube channel!
Winning movies will be showcased at the annual Midwest Education Technology Conference on Tuesday, February 12. Teachers from the list above will be contacted shortly with information on the reception. Students whose movies have won are invited, along with their teacher and family, to attend the reception, where the movies will be screened.
Any educator is welcome to attend the showcase at METC if interested. See METCconference.org for more information.
