"...choose this day whom you will serve...
as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
What can we do when the circumstances of the world break our hearts? Choose to allow Light. Choose to allow Love. Choose to allow Peace. Choose to allow Truth to guide your choices. There are so many possible answers to the question, "Why?", and most of them will end up anchoring us to some type of human explanation or justification or rationalization around events of the past. This moment is the result of the myriad of choices which have been made, and the path forward will emerge from the choices we make in this moment. In this moment, I choose Light. I choose Love. I cannot choose for anyone else, and I cannot dictate anyone else's choice. I choose to serve the Christ of my Beingness, which is Light, Love, Peace, Truth, All-Good. By whatever name and no matter what appearances may be to the contrary, I choose to hold the space of the possibility of Peace on Earth, Goodwill to All. I choose to hold all of my fellow humans in Light. I choose to hold a vision of peace, to radiate that possibility so that those who are unable in this moment to see peace may see the possibility of peace. I choose to inhabit the space of Light, so that those who are unable in this moment to do so may know that however dark the picture before us, Light is. I choose to remember the omnipresence of the Love which is eternal and omnipresent, so that those who are unable in this moment to do so may remember what their Source is, and thereby remember What they are, as well. I choose to find a space of comfort and peace within myself, so that those who suffer may share that space. I hold a space of acceptance and welcome for those who feel alone, so that those who feel unwelcome will know that they are not alone. I choose to hold each human expression of the Divine in my heart, no matter what. I choose to honor the sacred worth of all with whom I share this human world. I choose to be a radiating beacon of Light, so that all may find their way to the peace which is our birthright. I choose to look honestly at my choices and accept responsibility for my share of the collective human consciousness. I choose to release blame, and move forward in Love. These are the choices I claim. And when I realize I am not honoring these choices by my thoughts or my actions, I claim the willingness and the ability to reorient myself to Love, by whatever name I recognize It. I do believe that if we can imagine something is even remotely possible within the realm of infinite potential, it is possible to us, no matter how impossible it may seem in any given moment. I do believe it is possible for us to live together in peace. No matter what. I choose to live my life in alignment with that possibility. In peace, in Light, in Love--
