- Consider contacting your child's counselor for advice or strategies.
- Muirlands offers After School Homework Help on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and a late bus that leaves at 3:40 p.m. so all students can take advantage of this extra time on task.

Happy Heart Run is Muirlands Middle School's Annual PE Fundraiser where family and friends pledge money to support the students as they run laps. Our 14th annual Happy Heart Run will be held Thursday, Feb. 25th, during PE classes.
Funds raised through this annual event make it possible for our Physical Education Department to provide:
- swim instruction for several weeks each year
- new and ongoing maintenance of fitness equipment such as rowing machines, stationary bikes, and stair climbers for its indoor fit lab
- general PE equipment such as balls, climbing ropes, weights, flag football supplies, hockey and lacrosse sticks, jump ropes, and much more.
We need volunteers to pass out orange slices, water & sports drink to students. It's fun and easy, and supports our PE department!
