Muirlands Gives... Professional Development!

Did you know that the Muirlands Foundation supports professional development for our teachers?

This past year, the Foundation provided funding for 8 teachers and our principal to attend the Computer Using Educators (CUE) Conference.

Conference attendees returned to school energized and shared key learnings with their colleagues, which led our school to become an innovator as a "Google Apps for Education" School. Attendees said:

"Opportunities for meaningful, progressive professional development for teachers

are both rare and costly. Sending a cross-curricular team to the CUE Conference

has and will continue to have significant impact on the quality of education at Muirlands!"

"I was impressed with the quality of the Conference. I learned a variety of tips and tricks to immediately make use of in the classroom! Thank you, Muirlands Foundation, for the in-depth professional experience."

In March, the Foundation will support 8 teachers and our principal attending the CUE Conference again.

Please consider a gift of $500 or more. Our goal is 100% participation. Any gift, any size helps reach our goal. Families donating $500 or more will be invited to a donor party in February.

The Muirlands Middle School weekly eSplash is owned and managed by the Muirlands Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. As such, content for emails will be at the sole discretion of the Muirlands Foundation. Signing up for emails is optional and open to the public. Currently, there are over 1,700 subscribers. Consistent with the Muirlands Foundation Mission Statement, all school events, programs and important information will be included on an as-needed basis.
