Planning for Tomorrow The Office of the Bishop will be closed on Monday, June 6 for the conference, Planning for Tomorrow. We will reopen on Tuesday, June 7 and respond to inquiries then.

Ordinations & Diocesanwide Choir Jacqueline Bray, Chris Harris, Nancy Holland and Richard Lee will be ordained on Saturday, June 11, 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral, 2728 Sixth Ave., San Diego. The Cathedral invites choir members throughout the diocese to sing for this joyful occasion. One rehearsal will take place on Thursday, June 9, 7:30 p.m., plus a warm-up on the morning of the ordination. For more information, contact Canon Martin Green, 619-298-7261.
School for Ministry
Register for Fall Classes 
Thinking about taking a class at our local theological training program? Now is the time to register. The fall schedule includes: Hebrew Bible II, Ethics, Church History and Anglicanism. Classes run from September 3 - December 3. Anyone can take classes for credit, or by auditing. Register

Celebration of New Ministry  
We will celebrate the ministry of the new rector, the Rev. Janine Schenone, and the people of Good Samaritan on Saturday, June 18 at 2 p.m. Good Samaritan, 4321 Eastgate Mall, San Diego. All are welcome!

Eucharistic Visitor Training 
Saturday, June 25, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at St. Michael's, 2775 Carlsbad Blvd., Carlsbad. $10, includes lunch and materials. Convention will be here before you know it. The annual gathering of the church family will take place at St. Margaret's, 47-535 Highway 74, Palm Desert, CA 92260 on November 11 - 12. Nominations and resolutions are currently being accepted, as are servant ministry award nominations, exhibitor applications and registrations.

Youth Collaborative The diocesan Youth Collaborative is excited to offer numerous upcoming events and opportunities for teens and pre-teens. 
June 24 - 26: Urban Immersion Camp - St. Mark's, City Heights welcomes middle school kids for cross-cultural activities, service projects, spiritual reflection and meditation. Contact Alex Howard for more information.
July 18 - 26: SUMMA Theological Debate Camp - All high school students are invited to learn in a college environment with challenging lectures and stimulating debates. Learn to think critically and engage lovingly -- great life skills. Visit the website to learn more and apply.
July 25 - 30: Tijuana Mission Trip - High schoolers will build a home for people just south of the border in partnership with Amore Ministries. Contact Charlette Preslar to learn more.
