Informed by data from the 2015 communications focus groups and surveys, the diocesan communications committee successfully launched a new diocesan website using Wordpress. The new website features relevant content right on the homepage, as well as bilingual functionality and the ability for churches to submit their own events to the calendar. The site is responsive to smartphones and tablets, features a new bishop's blog, and has greater capacity for two-way communication through forms, including forms that accept electronic signatures. This last tool allows for official documents, such as convention nominations and liability release forms, to be submitted online. Sandra Alagona, communicator from Good Shepherd, Hemet, was instrumental in developing the site.
