The bishop's office will be closed on Monday, June 6 for the lay employees' retirement conference
Dear Friends,
cpg logo

In a few short weeks the Church Pension Group will provide an excellent educational opportunity designed to increase financial wellness for all church employees. The lay conference will take place Monday, June 6 and the clergy conference will be Tuesday-Wednesday, June 7-8.

I encourage all clergy and lay employees to attend the day specifically geared toward them. Spouses are also welcome to attend, free of charge. My office will be closed on Monday, June 6 to accommodate every single staff person's attendance. I urge you to do the same.

Topics to be covered in both programs include financial goal-setting, allocating assets to balance risk and reward, saving for major expenses, effectively paying down debt, planning for retirement, maximizing pension plan benefits, and understanding the resources available.
