Daughters of the King Diocesan Spring Assembly

Wear Orange for Gun Violence Awareness
Join Bishop Mathes and his colleagues in Bishops United Against Gun Violence on June 2 and #WearOrange to show your support for a country free of gun violence. Share the announcement of "Wear Orange Day" on social media, in church bulletins, on websites, etc. Take pictures of yourself, friends and family wearing orange. Post these photos to social media using #WearOrange and #Episcopal. A post could read: "The noise around gun violence is loud. Orange is louder. Join us and #WearOrange on June 2." Or "How will you #WearOrange on June 2? Watch the video."

TeamECSWalk with Team ECS
Join the multi-generational Episcopal Community Services (ECS) team to walk/run the 5K in the Rock 'n' Roll marathon on June 3. This is a fun community event to raise awareness about and support the work of ECS. Register online or contact Deann Ayer, 619-228-2840.

TENS Conference The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS) annual stewardship conference, Living Generously, takes place June 3-4 at All Saints', Pasadena. Ordinations & Diocesanwide Choir Jacqueline Bray, Chris Harris, Nancy Holland and Richard Lee will be ordained on Saturday, June 11, 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral, 2728 Sixth Ave., San Diego. The Cathedral invites choir members throughout the diocese to sing for this joyful occasion. Youth Collaborative The diocesan Youth Collaborative is excited to offer numerous upcoming events and opportunities for teens and pre-teens. 
June 24 - 26: Urban Immersion Camp - St. Mark's, City Heights welcomes middle school kids for cross-cultural activities, service projects, spiritual reflection and meditation. Contact Alex Howard for more information.
July 18 - 26: SUMMA Theological Debate Camp - All high school students are invited to learn in a college environment with challenging lectures and stimulating debates. Learn to think critically and engage lovingly -- great life skills. Visit the website to learn more and apply.

Traditional and Cutting Edge Cello
Dr. Sophie Webber, cellist, will perform at All Saints', 625 Pennsylvania Ave., San Diego on Sunday, May 15, 2 p.m. She will play Bach's Suites fro Solo Cello No. 1 in G Major and No. 5 in c minor in a broader than usual offering of musical genres. All Souls' Choristers' Gala
