Christ the King, Alpine Wins

We are pleased to announce that Christ the King, Alpine has won the privilege of selecting one lucky individual to throw out the first pitch on Friday, July 17. The Alpine congregation sold 30 tickets, which is 91% of its average Sunday attendance.

Although Christ the King won, you are all winners for working so hard, reminding people about the event, making sure communications went out, talking to people at coffee hour, handling checks and cash, and promoting the event in general. It's Not Too Late!

If you missed the window to purchase tickets before the June 28 deadline, do not fear: online ticket purchasing is here! Your tickets will be near other Episcopalians, but are not guaranteed to be near your own congregation. However, you will still receive the excellent group rate. Be sure to let the late-comers know that they can still purchase tickets online. Here's how:

Episcopal Night at the Padres

Join fellow Episcopalians for Padres Night on Friday, July 17 at 7:10 p.m. as the Padres take on the Colorado Rockies. Tickets are $12 (Upper Reserved), $25 (Toyota Terrace) and $63 (Skyline Patio). The Skyline Patio seats include all-you-can-eat burgers, dogs and salad from one hour prior to the game to one hour into the game. Popcorn, peanuts, soda, water, and beer are also included.
