Reminder: One Payment per Church
 

I'd like to remind everyone of our process for selling tickets. On Sundays, you should collect cash and checks. All checks should be made out to your church. On June 28, the deadline, send me your totals and ask your church to make ONE payment, either online or by check made out to "EDSD" and mailed to me at: The Episcopal Diocese of San Diego, 2083 Sunset Cliffs Blvd., San Diego, CA 92107. Once I have received your payment and totals, I will mail your tickets, or you may pick them up from my office. Please let me know in advance if you plan to pick up.

Tickets are selling like hotcakes! I plan to send the rankings next week. The congregation that sells the most tickets as a percentage of its average Sunday attendance will select the person to throw the first pitch. Stay tuned.

SHIP HAS SAILED! The diocesan-wide choir will lip sync the National Anthem at the ball game, but they are recording this Saturday, and have already practiced to perfection. Please remove the notice about joining the choir, although you may want to promote seeing the choir as a reason to attend.

SOCK COLLECTION! We will collect new athletic socks for distribution to people in need. Please ask folks to consider bringing a pair of socks on July 17. If your church would like to be a distribution point for the socks, please let Hannah know.

All-You-Can-Eat at Padres Night
Join fellow Episcopalians for Padres Night on Friday, July 17 at 7:10 p.m. as the Padres take on the Colorado Rockies. Tickets are available at $12 (Upper Reserved), $25 (Toyota Terrace) and $63 (Skyline Patio). The Skyline Patio seats include all-you-can-eat burgers, dogs and salad from one hour prior to the game to one hour into the game. Popcorn, peanuts, soda, water, and beer are also included.
