Bishop Mathes Announces Campaign Success

As we celebrate God's abundance, it is with joy and gratitude that I announce: our capital campaign has reached its goal with donations totaling $2,534,019.24! I am grateful to each and every person who gave generously to the campaign to: 1) create clergy mentorships, 2) provide loans and grants to congregations, 3) renovate the Episcopal Church Center, and 4) secure stable funding for the Bishop's Appeal. Because of your generosity and faithfulness, we are being Christ for the broken and hurting world around us.

While I'm pleased to announce that we have surpassed our goal, we're not done yet. We are still inviting people to participate so that this total reaches even higher with the final amount to be revealed at Diocesan Convention on Friday, February 13.

Our two endowed funds -- clergy mentorships and the parish loan program -- have been given a solid beginning. Now that the foundation has been laid, we have the opportunity to grow these endowments and robustly support our congregations and their leaders.
