On February 9 - 13 the Episcopal Diocese of Texas will host a special training in "The Daring Way" for 200 clergy at Camp Allen.

This is an experiential methodology designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational and professional settings.

During the five-day training, participants will explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame and worthiness. Clergy will examine the thoughts, emotions and behaviors that hold people back and identify the new choices and practices that move people toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way everyone lives, loves, parents and leads.

The Daring Way™ is a training and certification program for helping professionals who want to facilitate Brené Brown's work on vulnerability, courage, shame and worthiness. Participants will become part of a community of wholehearted practitioners who believe in the power of owning their own stories, and who recognize that vulnerability is the most accurate measure of courage.
