Thanks to you and a host of other generous Episcopalians across the Diocese of San Diego, we will soon post a new and exciting total for the amount raised-to-date in the Build the Serving Church capital campaign.

With that possibility in mind, we are making arrangements for the campaign's final phase, and I ask for your help in that effort. We plan to invite all the people who indicated a desire to support the campaign in the feasibility study but have not yet done so, to join the campaign. The plan is to send those folks a letter early next week, and follow up with a phone-a-thon three weeks later, on Friday, September 12.

I hope that you will be one of the callers on September 12.

We will gather at the Episcopal Church Center at the conclusion of the Open House (7 p.m.) for a brief training session and then make phone calls until roughly 8:30 p.m. We will provide you with all the written materials you will need, a conversation guide, food, drink, encouragement and affirmation! We ask that you bring your cell phone, your natural charm and an eagerness to serve.
