Women Clergy Lunch

With the theme of the 40th anniversary of the ordinations of "The Philadelphia 11," pictured above, a luncheon for women clergy will take place on Tuesday, July 29, on the Feast of Mary and Martha, at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Rancho Peñasquitos. All female clergy members are invited.

This is an opportunity to welcome new, female clergy to the diocese and celebrate our ministries. When the women clergy met with the Rt. Rev. Chilton Knudsen during her sabbatical in our diocese a few years ago, she encouraged the continued sharing of stories and remembering our heritage. This continues that dialogue.

11:30 a.m. Sarah's Circle/Sharing: Where were you in 1974, physically, spiritually, etc. and where are you now?

12:30 p.m. Lunch

Attendees are invited to bring items, pictures, memorabilia to add to their stories. A small donation will be helpful to cover food cost. Any dietary concerns should be noted with the RSVP.
