Saints and Suppers: Food for the Soul: Food for the Body: A Daybook of Saints and Treasured Family Recipes is a devotional guide for anyone interested in the lives of the saints. A fine companion work to Holy Women, Holy Men, this book was penned by Kathleen Wendfeldt, the late wife of the Rev. Stephen Wendfeldt and member of St. Peter's, Del Mar. A lifelong mystic, Kate wrote the book for all who seek a deeper relationship with God.

Saints and Suppers contains an entry for each day with information about a saint and a spiritual challenge. This is augmented with an appropriate recipe for the saint or season.

"Whether gathered around the dining room table for meals or around the altar rail for worship, it has been most important to me that we be together as much as possible," wrote Kate. "And that we join together with other Christians, both living and dead, to praise God in Jesus Christ for the blessings we have received," (Preface, Saints and Suppers).
