Episcopal Diocese of San Diego
Beloved,

I ask you to heed the call of our presiding bishop to include prayers for the people of South Sudan and Sudan as we gather around the Eucharistic table in this season of Easter. As a diocese who has been blessed by refugees making their home among us, this needless tragedy is particularly heartbreaking. In addition to your prayers, please take time to urge the president to actively work for peace and reconciliation in this land of too many sorrows. You can do so by going to the Episcopal Public Policy Network through this link: Send a Message

May peace come to those who are in danger.

Blessings,
best jim
The Rt. Rev. James R. Mathes
Bishop
