Like manna from heaven, campaign pledges are rolling in. Gifts and pledges from Episcopal Diocese of San Diego members and friends have brought us to nearly $2.2 million. We are closing in on our initial goal of $2.5 million to create a clergy mentorship program, to provide loans and grants to congregations, to renovate the Episcopal Church Center in Ocean Beach and to secure a stable income stream for the Bishop's Appeal.

Kitchen Cheerfulness: Thanks to Christ Church, Coronado, the Center in Ocean Beach has a brand-new, fully-functioning, up-to-code, industrial kitchen, which will prepare hot meals for people in need in the coming months and years. The Coronado parish adopted this part of the renovation as its own project and have raised $90,000 toward their $150,000 goal. Way to go, Christ Church!
