Build the Serving Church Campaign Kick-Off

DioCon14 LogoRegister for the campaign kick-off, which will take place on Friday, February 21. The Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, will give the keynote address, and we will announce the total amount pledged to date (and we think you'll be surprised). The kick-off will take place during the 40th Annual Diocesan Convention gala dinner at the DoubleTree located at 750 Hazard Center Drive in Mission Valley. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. This is not a fundraising event. We want everyone in the diocese to be there to help celebrate this momentous occasion. While there is no cost to attend, you must register to reserve your seat.

Afternoon Tea & Evensong
high tea
Sunday, September 22 -- Afternoon tea begins at 3 p.m. followed by Evensong sung by the St. Peter's, Del Mar choir. We will celebrate the feast day of St. Michael and All Angels, and as such a delightful storyteller will bring St. Michael to life. All are welcome. For more information, or to RSVP, contact Canon Nancy Holland, 619-823-8998. Transportation to and from the Episcopal Church Center is available upon request.

If tea and Evensong is not your cup of tea (pun intended), join us on Saturday, September 21 for a hardhat tour and brown-bag lunch beginning at 8 a.m. Please RSVP to Canon Nancy Holland.
