The blanket drive for low-income seniors was the Diocesan Service Coalition's (DSC) collaborative fall project. Hurricane Sandy This storm made landfall in central New Jersey on Oct. 29. It caused record flooding and left an estimated 6 million without power. Episcopal Relief and Develo pment (ERD) is working with affected dioceses to provide critical, life saving assistance as well as long-term recovery in the aftermath.
