Dear Subscribers,

Closing out "10 Women Strong" with some of the performers and sponsors on Saturday, March 28, 2015

I just wanted to come in and wish you a beautiful start to a new month.  I hope that it will be filled with sunshine, love and blessings. For those of you who celebrate the Easter Season, I pray that it will be awesome for you and your family.

As you should know, on this past Saturday, I closed out the month of March with my Annual Women's History Month Celebration and even though I wrote my Thank You Note on Facebook on Sunday morning, I wanted to also share it with you.

THANKS to you for attending and supporting even if you could not attend. The crowd and vibes were exactly what Ange' Anglade I wanted and loved and we are so happy to have had your support. Please stay connected with me to get access to all the powerful women (and men) who attended the event.  Our goal is to get stronger together and make next year's event even more special. Thanks to that person who got me the award - I appreciate it and will cherish it. Many thanks to my partner, Ange for doing this with me for 4 years now; we plan to keep it strong. To Lewis Buchanan, thanks for your support leading up to and on the day of the event. To my cousin Dian Lynch who came all the way from NY via Boston via Negril, thanks bunches for jumping in and doing whatever I asked when you really should have just been enjoying yourself. To Sandra and Donovan of Sandovan Restautant and Lounge, we thank you loads for hosting us and treating us so royally - we are here to also support you. To Strykers Posse aka Ichelle Cole and Yvonne Barnett-James, you ladies rock and we love you. My cousin woke up on Sunday singing "I see the light come shiiiiiiiiiining" because you are still in her head (and mine too, LOL). To Lady Flame....Lawd a mercy! A mek you one bad so? Noooooo sah!! I had to throw the patois in there for effect but Lady Flame, you are truly burning bright and getting more talented by the day. Hats off to you for that unforgettable performance last night. To Cecily Alexa Bumbray, your voice lit up and lifted up the room and everyone is asking about you. Thanks for being such a HUGE part of the event. To Dr. Claire Nelson -- your poetry was TOP NOTCH and perfect and we are still talking about "Duppy Conqueror" -- thank you for always supporting and also soaking up the vibes of the event. To DJ Vanity, we loved your selections and you were amazing -- thanks for being a part of the event and sharing your skills with us. To Reshada Pullen-Jireh, we respect you for all that you do and your masterpiece is very nice. It is always a pleasure to watch your art from start to finish. To Shaka Watson, how are we so lucky to have you donate your time and talent with us repeatedly? I must have done something really nice in a past life. The photos are awesome. To Quanico Lewis, thanks so much for the sweetness of the cupcakes and your generosity. To Papa Wabe and Tony Carr, the media giants from the DMV, thanks for interviewing me and other women on the Show.  It resulted in more support for the event.  To T Rob,even though you are not located in the DMV area, your show is heard worldwide and the interview you gave me brought  a lot of awareness to the event. To Rawborn, thanks for the promotions and for Lady Flame.

And now to thank all our wonderful sponsors -- you guys are truly the ones who help us to put on a quality event without breaking our banks. Please know that we appreciate you and are here to continue to support you even though the event is over: To Danielle Noon, even though you were not there physically, I felt your presence and your two ladies represented. To Yasmin Anderson-Smith, Tish, Dave Weeks, Patrick Crawford, Keith Stephenson, thanks for blessing us even though you did not attend the event. To Denise Dixon, Bertha Cross, Denise Richards, Krys Perri, Mr Anglade and Cynthia Bruce, MAJOR THANKS for attending and celebrating with us and also sharing your energy, products and information with our patrons.
