According to American Express OPEN's report "State of Women-Owned Business" the number of women starting businesses is growing at a rapid rate.  The report also highlights the phenomenal growth of companies owned by women of color. Although businesses owned by women of color are smaller than non-minority women-owned businesses both in terms of average employment and revenues, their growth in number and economic clout is generally far outpacing that of all women-owned firms.   READ MORE

 A special workshop to prepare your business for contract opportunities. This specialized hands on workshop is designed to help you evaluate your ability to pursue contracts with the federal government or in the private sector.

You will understand your options and learn strategies to position your business to compete for contracts and subcontracting opportunities.  This workshop is also for individuals seeking project work with prime contractors.

Workshop Instructors: Stacy and Roger Vaugh, D-Unity group.  The Vaughn's have twenty years of contracting experience and a proven track record in helping businesses secure contract opportunities.

READY TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS WITH CONTRACTS!! This specialized program will help you acquire the knowledge and skills to successfully compete for contracts and business opportunities in  the federal and private sectors. 

This series begins with 5 weeks of class sessions at Atlanta Technical College. The training also includes specialized business workshops, mentoring and technical coaching.  We have a host of partners that will provide you with business resources. The total cost of the program is $350.00 and partial scholarships are available if you qualify.
