    Impala SS Club National Gathering

    For the first time, the Impala SS Club of America is bringing its National Gathering to Bowling Green. Activities are scheduled at several motorsports facilities throughout the city during the week. The gathering welcomes about 150+ Impalas and begins on Wednesday, running through Saturday.

    An autocross event will be held at the NCM Motorsports Park, drag racing will be at the Beech Bend dragstrip and a car show will be at the National Corvette Museum. All years of the Chevy Impala are welcome to attend after registering for the events at the host hotel, the Holiday Inn University Plaza, on Tuesday evening.     Join the summertime fun at South Union Shaker Village this weekend for another Broom Making Demonstration on Saturday. Beginning at 10am, see the the old-fashioned way the Shakers crafted their homemade brooms. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12.
