Corvettes are coming home this weekend at the 34th Annual National Corvette Homecoming! Named a Kentucky Travel Industry Association Top 10 Summer Event, the homecoming will be held at Sloan Convention Center Thursday through Saturday.

Special events like A Night with the BG Hot Rods, an overview of the NCM Motorsports Park, GM Assembly Plant tours, a parade road tour, fashion show, celebrity car judging contest and more are happening throughout the weekend. The National Corvette Homecoming celebrates America's favorite sports car and its home in Bowling Green. Keep your kids or yourself busy this week with lots of special hands-on experiential activities happening across the city! Take the children to the Car Part Art Workshop on Thursday at the National Corvette Museum, where they can learn to create something special for the new art exhibit coming to the Corvette Museum this fall! Or head to the Kentucky Museum on Saturday for the Pine Needle Basket Workshop. Working with an experienced crafts-person, learn how to create your own!
