    Celebrate Bowling Green's native son Duncan Hines, the man behind the cake mix, at the 18th Annual Duncan Hines Festivalthis weekend at Chaney's Dairy Barn. Named a Kentucky Travel Industry Association Top 10 Summer Event, the festival runs 4 to 8pm and is followed by Chaney's Ice Cream & a Moovie.

    This year's festival features the Adventures in Good Baking Contest, Uncle Duncan's Duck Derby, access to the Chaney's jumping pillow and more. The festival is free to the public. For more information, please check out the official Duncan Hines Festival website in the link below.

    Downtown fun!

    Free summer fun comes to downtown Bowling Green this weekend with two events: the BB&T Concerts in the Park night series on Friday night and the Second Saturdays Street Fair the following morning. Bring your lawn chairs to Circus Square Park on Friday night for free live music and entertainment by Poison Karma. The show starts at 7pm and runs until 10pm. Food vendors and children's activities will be set up around the park. See the event Facebook page here for more info.

    Then head to Fountain Square on Saturday morning for the Second Saturdays Street Fair, which runs 9am-3pm. The fair features the Cruisin' for a Cure classic car shows, vendors from your favorite downtown merchants and local artists. Live music will be performed by Tyrone Dunn & the Kin Foke!
