Pontiac US Nationals Drag Race & Car Show
The inaugural drag racing show for the Pontiac US Nationals rolls into Bowling Green this weekend! Coming to Beech Bend Raceway this Friday and Saturday, this national drag racing series and car show will be fun for the whole family!
Pontiac-only drag racing Test & Tunes begin on Friday morning, with the first runs starting at 10am. Four Pontiac racing classes will be held on Saturday, starting at 9:30am. The car show will be happening all day both days in the area outside the drag strip at Beech Bend. One-day admission for adults is $15 and two-day admission is $25. Kids ages 12 and under are free. BG Kids Fest!
Join BG Kids! for the inaugural BG KidsFest! at Chaney's Dairy Barn this Saturday at 4pm! Enjoy family fun, games and much more leading up to Chaney's Ice Cream and a Moovie's presentation of "Mr. Peabody and Sherman."
There will be a DJ, a dance off, Dinky Gowan magic and fun science experiments with Little Learners, a partner of WKU's Center for Gifted Studies. Activities also include inflatables, pony rides, Mark Love professional face painting, and Chaney's jumping pillow! As a finale, watch a Rocket Launch featuring a rocket over 6 feet tall that will travel close to 2600 feet at 320 miles per hour.
