    400 Mile Yard Sale

The annual 400 Mile Yard Sale returns this weekend! Running June 4-7, this yard sale runs along Kentucky's historic highway 68/80, all the way from Maysville in northern Kentucky, through Bowling Green, to south of Paducah in western Kentucky.

Booths will be set up along the highway in hundreds of locations--with more being added daily. Please check the 400 Mile Sale website in the link below for an updated list of vendor booth locations, things to do in the communities along the way, and more information about the history of this annual tradition. More details on local Warren County booths can be found by calling 270-782-0800.

Shake, Ride and Roll at South Union

In cooperation with the Bowling Green League of Bicyclists (BGLOB), the South Union Shaker Village will host the 3rd Annual Shake, Ride and Roll bike ride through the beautiful countryside, much of what was originally the Shaker's 6,000 acre farm. Special premiums and options for the day's event will be offered upon registration. To register and view ride maps, go here.

There will be three marked routes running 10, 28, and 50 miles, all of which will start and end at the Shaker Museum. Registration opens at 7am and each rider is required to wear a helmet and sign a waiver. This ride is free for BGLOB members but all are asked to consider a donation to South Union Shaker Village. Non BGLOB members are encouraged to make a donation to the South Union Shaker Village. For more information, please call 270-542-4167 or visit the link below.
