Music and theatre lovers will be excited about the upcoming performance of Carmina Burana this weekend at Van Meter Auditorium. Performed at 7:30pm on Friday evening, Carmina Burana will be one of the most highly regarded works in the choral concert repertoire. Based on twenty-four short poems, the work takes audiences through a grand tapestry of musical drama and satire.

As racing season is in full swing in our Hot Rod City, USA, there's all kinds of motorsports events revving up in #bgky this week! At Beech Bend Raceway, guests enjoy O'Reilly Saturday Night Grudge Racing and NHRA Drag Racing on Sunday. This weekend the raceway welcomes the Trailblazers SS Club for a day of events on Saturday. Plus, Beech Bend Park's Opening Day and kickoff to the amusement park season is also Saturday!

Lots will be going on at the NCM Motorsports Park this weekend too! The autocross pad and Grand Full course will be used by groups on Saturday and Sunday. Spectators are welcome to drive out to the park and watch these high performance cars for some free full throttle fun!
