    BG Gallery Hop

    Returning this year are the annual events for the BG Gallery Hop across downtown! The galleries, museums and studio centers from around the city have gathered for the annual Bowling Green Gallery Hop, opening their doors for the public to tantalize their creative senses with great original art. Take this opportunity to observe, ask questions and enjoy getting acquainted with area artists and our city's gallery locations.

    More than a dozen venues are on the 2015 Gallery Hop, some of which are Art Matters, B & J Gallery, Candle Makers on the Square, Gallery 916, Ingen Art Gallery, Kentucky Museum, The Pots Place Co-op and several more! The Gallery Hop takes place five times per year. Please check out the website below for more information and gallery hop locations.

    IdeaFestival Bowling Green 2015 will be Friday in the Downing Student Union auditorium at WKU and explore the theme of "Ideas, Innovation, Invention." Returning to Bowling Green for a second year, the IdeaFestival welcomes speakers throughout the day to provide inspiration for our own creativity. You can attend IFBG 2015 for free! Sign up now

    Speakers include keynoter John All from the WKU Geography Department (pictured on the left), who will tell of his journey falling down a crevasse in the Himalaya, along with other speakers like Mitch Wright, the general manager of the NCM Motorsports Park, Dave Tatman, Associate Vice President for Advanced Manufacturing at WKU, and other representatives from the area buy local movement, branding experts and more!
