    Shaker Village activities

As springtime draws nearer, more activities are on schedule south of Bowling Green at South Union Shaker Village. Beginning this month and running through October, the first Saturday will bring broom making demonstrations to the village from 10am-4pm. Watch how brooms are made in the old-fashioned Shaker custom. Demonstrations are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12.

Also happening this Saturday at South Union is the annual L&N Railroad Luncheon at 12pm. Patrons can enjoy a hearty 1880s menu served at Shaker Tavern. Lunch costs $22 for members and $25 for non-members. For more information and a special events schedule for South Union Shaker Village, please call 270-542-4167 or check out the website below.
