Welcome to our "What's Happening" email, designed to provide you with a glance at opportunities for an unbridled good time in the Bowling Green area.

The Bowling Green area will be hopping with New Year's Eve celebrations this week! Whether you're into concerts, dancing, or good food, there's all kinds of activities happening across town during the last night of 2014. Roxcel's New Year's Party at the Crossroads Lounge at Ramada includes live music, party favors, a champagne toast at midnight, raffles for door prizes and more! The new show coming to the Hardin Planetarium examines the age of our universe. In "When the Universe was Young," we learn that we are the first generation of humans to know what our universe was like at the very beginning. Less than 100 years ago people thought that our galaxy was all there was and that it had never, ever changed. We have since realizes that our galaxy is just one of at least hundreds of billions in a universe constantly changing since it began almost 14 billion years ago.

Explore how we understand what it was like when the universe was young. All planetarium shows are free and open to the public. The Hardin Planetarium is located at the corner of College Heights Boulevard and State Street. For more information, please call 270-745-4044 or visit the website below.
