The first weekend in December kicks off all the holiday seasonal fun in Bowling Green! Don't miss the annual Downtown Lights Up on Fountain Square Friday night, followed by the Fountain Square Holiday Market on Saturday. The Holiday Bash will be at the National Corvette Museum, plus Sleigh Rides with Santa kicking off there on Sunday afternoon!

Saturday is booming with other events too! Don't miss the Shakertown Holiday Market, Holiday Pops, or The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. If you'd rather get crafty, try the Felt Christmas Ornament Workshop after you check out the Bowling Green Christmas Parade downtown and Christmas in Kentucky at the Kentucky Museum. Bowling Green welcomes the Russell Athletic/KHSAA High School Football State Championships this weekend. Our city rolls out the red carpet to celebrate the best in high school football this weekend. Cheer on some of the state's best talent!

The first games are played Friday, with the state championship title scheduled for Saturday evening at Houchens/L.T. Smith Stadium. KHSAA recently announced the continuing partnership with Russell Athletic and WKU to host the football state championships in Bowling Green for the next five years!
