Welcome to our "What's Happening" email, designed to provide you with a glance at opportunities for an unbridled good time in the Bowling Green area.

The start of the Fall season brings special live entertainment to South Union Shaker Village! Bring the family to Music on the Farm on Saturday from 2-5pm to enjoy live music, kick back and taste a delicious afternoon dessert. Try traditional Southern dishes, including fried peach pies, fresh apple cake, apple cider slushes and homemade Shaker Sweet Potato Pie ice cream from Chaney's Dairy Barn.

Reservations are $15/person, $25/couple and $5/kids ages 6-12. Be sure to call 270-542-4167 or visit the website below for more information, including details about another event also happening on Saturday at the village called the "Shakertown Revisited" Cast and Fan Reunion!

One of the first spooky events of the season returns this Saturday with the KY Zombie Mud Run at Skeleton's Lair. Get in the spirit of the Halloween season by dressing in your favorite costume and getting chased by zombies through a mud course. Waves of runners will depart every 15 minutes beginning at 9am. Runners may participate individually or in teams--or volunteer to be zombies.
