Welcome to our "What's Happening" email, designed to provide you with a glance at opportunities for an unbridled good time in the Bowling Green area.

Bowling Green art galleries will be filled with enthusiasts on Friday night for the BG Gallery Hop! Go downtown to check out a few of the 17 galleries, museums and studio centers from around the city. The hop runs 5 to 9 pm, coinciding with several other events downtown as well, like live music on Fountain and Circus Squares part of the BB&T Concert in the Park series.

You'll find art on display at any of these locations: Art Matters, Artistic Soul Studio, ArtWorks, Inc., B & J Gallery, Candle Makers on the Square, Christ Episcopal Church, Ellis Walker Gallery, Gallery 916, Ingen Art Gallery, Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center at WKU, Kentucky Museum at WKU, Mass Media Technology Hall at WKU, Pushin Buildings Artists' Studio, SKYPAC, The Pots Place Co-op, The Presbyterian Church and Yellowberri. Part of the annual Second Saturdays Street Fairs in downtown Bowling Green, the Cruisin' for a Cure Car Shows happen a few times per season on Fountain Square. A benefit for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the car show features hot rods, street rods, rat rods, motorcycles and more.

Live music and entertainment will be playing from 10am to 3pm in conjunction with the street fair. Enjoy shopping and specialty vendors, horse and carriage rides, kids' games and activities and more!
