Welcome to our "What's Happening" email, designed to provide you with a glance at opportunities for an unbridled good time in the Bowling Green area.

The Southern Kentucky Fair returns to the fairgrounds at Lampkin Park this week! All your favorite fair carnival rides and games are back, plus special events each night. Activities include go kart races, 4-H shows, talent contests, diesel truck pulls, karaoke contests and live music, the lawnmower demolition derby and the full size car/compact demo derby.

Admission is $12 and covers events, parking, laser tag and rides. The fair runs Monday through Thursday 6-10pm and Friday to Saturday 6-11pm. Rides close one hour after the gates close. Gear up for racing fun! Hooker Headers and QuickFuel present the Bottom Bulb Battle at Beech Bend Raceway! Time trial runs will be going all weekend long, beginning at noon Friday, 9am on Saturday and 10am Sunday.
