    Skydome Sinkhole Great 8 Exhibit

The newest exhibit at the National Corvette Museum is opening this week. On Wednesday, February 12, 2014 a sinkhole collapsed within the Skydome building of the National Corvette Museum. While we are fortunate that no one was in the building at the time of the incident, the hole did claim eight prized Corvettes. A "Great 8" Exhibit will be available from April 18 until August 3, showcasing the eight Corvettes "as-is", related artifacts, media clips, information on caves and sinkholes and more.

After August 3 the cars will be moved into the restored Skydome and displayed until early September when they will be transported to Warren, Michigan, for repairs at the General Motors Design Center. For more information about the exhibit and the National Corvette Museum, please call 270-781-7973 or visit the website below.
