    Christmas Comes to Downtown BG

Fountain Square will be hopping with holiday cheer this weekend! Christmas comes to downtown Bowling Green starting this Friday night with Downtown Lights Up! Bring the family to Fountain Square to see the holiday light display at 5:30pm, take a free horse-drawn carriage ride and sip some hot chocolate.

Friday also begins the third annual Fountain Square Christmas Market, where you'll find holiday gifts and handmade treasures from Bowling Green's finest local vendors downtown. Running Friday and Saturday, the holiday market showcases a little something special for everyone.

While you're on Fountain Square Friday night, stop by the grand opening of Corsair Artisan Distillery's Visitors Center and Tasting Bar. The public is invited to take an exclusive look at its finished renovations of the ground floor of the Pushin Department Store Building during the grand opening from 5-8pm. As part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour, Corsair Artisan is an award-winning small batch whiskey distillery located just off Fountain Square. For more on Corsair, check out its website here.
