    WKU Homecoming Activities

    It's the best time of year on the Hill at Western Kentucky University! Time to celebrate Homecoming 2013! With a "Bright Lights, Red City" theme, there are activities happening all week across Bowling Green to celebrate being a Hilltopper! Just a few of the events you won't want to miss include the Homecoming Concert by Justin Moore and featuring Corey Smith on Thursday, Oct. 25., the Hall of Distinguished Alumni Luncheon on Friday, Oct. 26 and the WKU Concert in the Park Series and Big Red's Roar will be held downtown at Fountain Square Park later that evening at 7pm.

    The main event is the WKU Football game versus Troy on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Houchens Smith Stadium at 3pm. Individual campus organizations are hosting their own homecoming day activities and special events throughout the day as well.     Haunted Halloween Fun

    Fall is in full swing and there's a nip in the air. With Halloween just around the corner, there are plenty of seasonal haunted happenings going on in Bowling Green all week. Aside from thrills every weekend at , there's lots going on this week! The Historic Railpark & Train Museum is hosting the Haunted Depot program (Oct. 26), part of its All Aboard Series at 8:30am, where guests hear the scary tales of the depot's past.

    The National Corvette Museum is hosting the Museum Monster Mash (Oct. 26), where you can bring the kids in costume for tricks and treats at the museum from 9-11am. Bring your pups in costume to Fountain Square Park for the annual Howl-o-Ween Strut Your Mutt Parade (Oct. 26). Kereiakes Park is hosting the Monster Dash (Oct. 26), so outrun the zombies as best you can! For a complete list of Halloween fun and even more events, check out the link below.
