Lost River Music Fest
The first event of its kind held at Circus Square Park, The Lost River Music Fest is this Saturday, September 14. The fest features 13 Bands on two Stages for one Great Cause. Proceeds from The Fest are benefiting The Center for Courageous Kids.
There's lots of talent all jumbled into one great event! Headliners for The Fest are The Kentucky Headhunters, Sundy Best and The Thrashing Fossils All Star Jam Band. The rest of the lineup includes O'possum Holler, Salvage Town, Scott Lindsey, Kalisa Ewing, Billy Swayze, The Lost River Cavemen, The Reneus, Mudd River Union, The Smokin' Peace Pipes, and Black Cat Cadillac. Music in the Barn
This Saturday is one of the best annual events held at South Union's Shaker Tavern, Music in the Barn. Enjoy live music, fresh air and specialty southern dessert treats from 2pm-5pm. Reservations are required, starting at $15/person, then $25/couple and $5/kids ages 6-12.
Feel the cool fall breezes wafting through the 1875 Grain Barn and kick back in a relaxed family atmosphere. Dessert treats include fried peach pies, fresh apple cake, apple cider slushes and homemade Shaker Sweet Potato Pie ice cream from Chaney's Dairy Barn.
