Ring World Planetarium Show
With Saturn shining bright in the evening sky, join Hardin Planetarium for Ring World, an up close and personal view of this most glorious planet. Unlike previous spacecrafts' visits to Saturn, the Cassini mission is currently orbiting around the giant planet and repeatedly flying past Saturn's moons and ring system.
Hear new discoveries about Saturn itself, as well as its many moons and icy rings. Experience our solar system's ring world up close like never before. Ring World will be presented on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7pm and on Sunday afternoons at 3pm from August 27 through October 13. Admission is free and shows last approximately 40 minutes. For more information, visit the link below or call 270-745-4044.

AppleFest at Jackson's Orchard
Fall is just around the corner and Jackson's Orchard is gearing up for hearty season. Labor Day weekend means AppleFest at the orchard. Bring the family for some sweet, crisp fall apples and everything that goes with them.
You'll find all kinds of apple treats--fresh apple cider, cider slushes, fried pies, caramel apples and more! It's the perfect time to go ahead and stock up on some mixes, dips, or relishes to stash away for the holidays. Kids will enjoy the Cider Slider and other activities too! For more information, please call 270-781-5303 or visit the website below.
