    The '50s Dance Party

The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center is going retro this weekend at The '50s Dance Party. Put on your poodle skirts with bobby socks or sport your pompadour and cuffed jeans. The show features music from the legendary Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. Richardson.

On February 3, 1959, those three big-time stars were killed in a plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa. At SKyPAC, John Mueller, Ray Anthony and Linwood Sasser bring their music to life in the only show endorsed by the Holly, Valens, and Richardson estates. This show is part of the Orchestra Kentucky Retro series and will begin at 7:30pm on Saturday, August 17. For more details, please call 270-846-2426 or visit the website below.
