11th Holley NHRA Hot Rod Reunion
One of Bowling Green's biggest auto events is coming to town this weekend! The 11th Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion will run June 13-15 at Beech Bend Park. Come check out this three-day festival of speed, hot rods and American automotive enthusiasm. Produced by the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, the reunion brings to life the sights, sounds and people who made history in the early days of drag racing, land speed racing and the golden age of American car culture. The reunion honors some of the top names in hot rodding from the past and features an array of cool drag cars, street rods and customs of the historic and present-day hot rod eras.
The hot rod reunion has been awarded many honors: a Kentucky Travel Industry Association Top 10 Event for Summer 2013 and one of the 10 Premier U.S. Events by Painless Performance and Street Rodder Magazine. There will be loads of family-fun activities all weekend, such as nostalgic drag racing, the sensational Cacklefest and SoffSeal Show N Shine. Information, including a full activities schedule, entry forms and tickets, are available through the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum by calling 1-800-884-NHRA (6472) or visiting the website below.
