BB&T All-American Soap Box Derby Race
The Kiwanis Club of Bowling Green and BB&T present one of the largest regional Soap Box Derbies in the country. Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18th, will be the All-American Soap Box Derby at the Kiwanis Soap Box Derby Track located at Phil Moore Park. Children ages 7 to 17 are welcome to participate and the registration fee is now $55.
Racing action begins Friday at 5pm with stock racing, then Super Stock and Stock racing continue Saturday morning at 6:30am. An awards ceremony begins Saturday at 5pm. Call 270-791-3753 or visit the link below for more information.

"A Southern Exposure"
Join the Fountain Square Players during their 34th season at Bowling Green's Phoenix Theater. Their latest comedy/drama, "A Southern Exposure," will be performed May 16-19. Ticket prices range from $8-12.
"A Southern Expsoure" is the story of an impulsive young woman raised by her grandmother and is searching for herself. In one grand moment, the 24-year-old Callie Belle decides to leave home and move to New York City with her boyfriend of three months. It's Callie's last year of college at the University of Kentucky, and her grandmother has no idea if she will finish what she started or throw it all away for a boy.
