Historic Preservation Day at the Capitol

The Landmark Association's newly reactivated Advocacy Committee is hosting a free "Historic Preservation Day" at the Capitol Arts Center on Saturday, May 11 from 10am-4pm in celebration of National Historic Preservation Month. There will be information on the local historic districts, design guidelines, the Landmark Association, local grants, financial incentives and more. This would be a perfect opportunity to get advice for your historic building.

An all-day workshop on restoring historic windows will be led by Cutting Edge's Tom Francis. Other seminars include lessons from Kentucky Heritage Council architect Jen Spangler Williamson, Tax Credit Coordinator Mike Radeke and Site Development Program Administrator Scot Walters of http://heritage.ky.gov. For more information, please call 270-842-1953 or visit the website below.
