Victorian Skills Workshop
Riverview at Hobson Grove presents the first of this year's four Victorian Skills for Young Ladies and Gentlemen workshops this week. Children ages 8 to 12 are invited to learn the skills to make a Felt Flower Bouquet. Nancy Baird, past Kentucky History Specialist of the Kentucky Library at WKU, leads each of the workshops at the historic house museum.
Participants will learn a traditional Victorian hand craft and create a memento to take home.
Each of these workshops is limited to a specific age and number of participants, so reservations are required. All tools and materials will be provided for each workshop. For further information, please call Riverview at 843-5565 or visit the link below.

Live Americana Concerts
Bowling Green's music scene lights up this week with three live performances of classic Americana music. At the Capitol Arts Center, Little Texas plays on Thursday night and features special guest Lyndsey Highlander. Formed in Nashville in 1988, Little Texas traveled the U.S. and became one of top rocking country bands. They're stopping by Bowling Green on their 25th Anniversary tour. With them will be newcomer Lyndsey Highlander, who credits her musical inspiration from soulful greats like Patsy Cline and Aretha Franklin. For more on this show, call 270-904-1880 or click here.
Two other exciting performances this week are at The Warehouse at Mt. Victor. Sundy Best performs on Thursday night and Justin Townes Earle with Ben Knight plays Saturday night. Both performers are stellar in their industry and The Warehouse is excited to host them. Ticket prices and seating vary. For more information, please call 270-904-6677 or visit the link below.
