    Total Fitness Connection Mini Marathon 5K Run & Walk for Children

    The 17th Annual Total Fitness Connection Mini Marathon 5K Run & Walk includes something for the entire family: Mini-Marathon (13.1 miles), a 5K Run (3.1 mile) and 5K Fun Walk (5K) and a Pump & Run (5K) event--which will all take place at Basil Griffin Park on March 23, 2013.

    There will also be a Pasta Party, children's activities, Expo, and a silent auction on March 22 at Total Fitness Connection on Three Springs Road. Event participants who register before that date will be guaranteed a Race T-shirt and a free Pasta Party Ticket.

    Families, businesses, charity organizations and church groups are encouraged to form teams and just have some fun. All the proceeds benefit the Family Enrichment Center.     Easter Egg Hunt

    There will be a free Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23 at South Warren High School's football field. Bring the kids to join the fun and win door prizes. There will be live music provided by Tim Livingston.

    Registration to win a new bike begins at 2pm and the hunt begins at 3pm. Sponsors will be giving away six bikes (two per age group). Children will be divided into age groups to hunt for more than 15,000 hidden eggs.

    The hunt is sponsored by Hughes & Coleman, Warren County Parks & Recreation, KY ASA and Chaney's Dairy Barn. The rain date is March 24 at 3pm. Call Chaney's Dairy Barn for more information at 270-843-5567 or visit the link below.
