    Beech Bend Raceway Now Open!

    Racing season is back in full swing at Beech Bend Raceway! The drag strip and track are celebrating their season kick-offs this weekend with Test & Tune Drag Racing on Saturday and NHRA Drag Racing on Sunday.

    Beech Bend has an auto racing facility that is nationally recognized for its drag strip as well as an oval track for stock car racing. Race car enthusiasts can enjoy Stock Car racing on Saturday nights, Fun Racing on Tuesday and Friday nights, NHRA drag racing on Sundays and national automotive events throughout the year.

    Some of the biggest events at Beech Bend this season are the Challenger Fest 4 running April 5-7, the NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion this June 13-15, the Holley LS Fest coming September 6-8 and the Buick GS Nationals on October 16-19.     Community Day

    SKyPAC's Second Annual Free Community Day is Saturday, March 9 from noon to 4:00 p.m. It will be a day of continuous entertainment throughout with performances and art activities in the Main Hall, Studio Theater and Capitol Arts Center.

    Regional entertainers will thrill audiences with live music, vocals, dancing and art activities. There will be drawings held throughout the day to win free tickets to select SKyPAC performances. Community Day is free of charge and open to the public.

    Some events coming up at SKyPAC include Peter Pan on Mach 19-20, Jack Hanna's Into the Wild on April 13, Dreamgirls on April 18 and STOMP on April 23. For more information, please call 270-904-5000 or click the link below.
