Home Expo is the premier Home and Garden show for the Bowling Green area and features a range of products and services to help with sprucing up your home, remodels or new construction. Presented by the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky, more than 100 exhibition booths will be set up for your home improvement needs.

Not only does it provide a chance to meet with several professionals under one roof, but you can win great prizes. From TVs, to granite countertops, to gift certificates and a KindleFire, these are just some of the items you can win by registering with different vendors or participating in an on-site Scavenger Hunt. Plus a storage shed will be raffled benefiting Habitat for Humanity. Admission is $8 or 2 for $15 per day. Children are free when accompanied by an adult! Open Friday from 5-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m. For more information, please call 270-781-3375 or visit the link below.

    L & N Railroad Luncheon

Step back in time for lunch on Saturday at the Shaker Tavern at the South Union Shaker Village. The historic menu includes roast turkey and cranberries, baked macaroni and cheese, baked sweet potatoes, homemade apple sauce, breaded tomatoes, and walnut cake with whipped cream.

Reservations are required and the meal costs $22 for members and $25 for non-members. The L & N Railroad Luncheon is one of several special events held at South Union Shaker Village this year. For details on more events, call 270-542-4167 or visit the link below.
