Shower the People: The Music of James Taylor

One of the most legendary singer-songwriters of all time will be the focus of this weekend's Orchestra Kentucky Retro Series concert as they present Shower the People: The Music of James Taylor. The concert features the Canadian group, Jeans 'n Classics, which combines rock musicians and orchestra. They have performed all over the U.S. and Canada with lead vocalist Neil Donell. Donell has been involved in more than ten thousand recording sessions, causing the media to refer to him as "the most recorded voice in the country."

According to Music Director Jeffrey Reed, the show will feature all the big hits, making it an enjoyable evening for James Taylor fans. In addition, Reed notes that "an orchestra adds a lushness and level of excitement that just isn't present with a cover band." Tickets range from just $10 to $36 and are available by calling the orchestra box office at 270-846-2426 or by visiting the link below.
