Lockbox Conversion Wraps Up Friday, Dec. 13

For Members with old iBoxes to return and/or a lockbox allotment, there is still time to bring back your old lockboxes and/or pick up new lockbox equipment if you have not done so already. Until 11:30 a.m. on Friday December 13, there will be approximately 45 representatives at the Overland Park International Trade Center ready to accept your old lockbox equipment and issue new equipment, all in a matter of minutes. Please come to the conversion site while 45 representatives are ready to help you.

Please do not plan to conduct lockbox conversion activities at the KCRAR office. KCRAR will not be equipped to assist in lockbox activities until January 6, 2014, and at that time there will be only two people to assist you. Please do not procrastinate; come to the International Trade Center while KCRAR is staffed to change out lockbox equipment without a wait!

Remaining dates and times:

December 10-12: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

December 13: 9:00 p.m. to 11:30

Overland Park International Trade Center at 6800 W. 115th Street, Overland Park, KS

From 115th Street and Metcalf, go east on 115th and turn left at 3rd traffic light.

Reminder: Dec. 15 is the Day for Dues

All KCRAR REALTORŽ and Affiliate members received annual dues invoices the first week of November for local, state and national dues. Payment can be made online, in person, or by mailing a check to KCRAR. The deadline to remit dues is Dec. 15.

Yes, it's true. You can complete your CE at home in your PJ's at no cost! Your KCRAR Board of Directors approved this to be effective in January. So here is another member benefit coming your way. We teamed with KC's own Career Education Systems (Mark and Brad Barker) via their online school, CE Cheap. We all know their classes are always top-notch.

Call for Action: Support Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability

The Problem: Congress provided a 5-year reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), but severe implementation problems threaten to undermine real estate transactions where flood insurance is required to obtain a mortgage.
